A POSITION of POWER

vgaunplugged

The position that you approach things from will determine it's outcome. Think about that for a moment.

FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Ephesians 1:21 NKJV

The previous verse (Ephesians 1:20) ended off with Jesus being seated in heavenly places after He was raised from the dead and it continues with where that heavenly position is; which is FAR ABOVE all principalities, power, might and dominion and every name that is named. Now, we as believers in Jesus Christ are seated in heavenly places in Christ (See Ephesians 2:6). I said earlier the position you approach things from will determine the outcome because if you approach a challenging circumstance or situation from a place of fear, doubt, insecurity, lack and uncertainty then I can guarantee you that you will not have success or won't overcome that circumstance or that situation. BUT I have GOOD NEWS FOR YOU! You have a far better and more powerful position in Jesus. Let's look at your position in Jesus.

JESUS is placed in heavenly places far above all power and might, dominion and every name that is named. You have the exact same position as Jesus. Therefore, your position is in heaven too which means that you have no lack because there is no lack in heaven at all. There is only abundance in heaven. YOU ARE PLACED IN ABUNDANCE. Your position is also far above all power, might and dominion. So, it's not just speaking about "far" as in distance but also tells that it's far more powerful than any power, might and dominion. Your position in heaven also speaks of authority. You have the same authority as Jesus and all power, principalities (any demonic forces), is under His authority. Therefore, THERE IS NOTHING STRONGER OR MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU, not even a demonic power because you have Jesus' authority. Therefore, when you realize that you have God's authority in you and you use your God given authority by speaking to the situation or problem and you command it to leave or be destroyed, it has to obey you! This is because Jesus is above every name that is named, be it sickness, poverty, lack, discouragement, fear, shame, insecurity, doubt, depression, you name it, it has to leave because Jesus is the highest and final authority!
